why is a solution of HCL and acid but a solution of glucose is not true both contain hydrogen

HCl can displace hydrogen ions while glucose cannot.

acid are those who give rise of H+ ions after dissociation
HCl after dissociation give rise to H+ ions while glucose after dissolving in water does not give rise to H+ ions
HENCE GLUCOSE IS NOT AN ACID....
