Why is abscisic acid (aba) called as the stress hormone?

because aba is mainly stop or slow down the growth in a living being but the endocrine glands secret many other hormones to slow down the pase of aba which led to a hormonal imbalance in the endocrine system which led to stress in the living being that's why it is also called stress hormone
