because AC current are senisoidal in nature.it changes it's polarity continuously and in electro plating the cathode and anode are fixed .If it's polarity varies (sine and cos wave function means anode become cathode and cathode become anode vice - versa continuosly) results there is no any three process which applicable for electroplating.
