aerobic respiration occurs in Eukaryotic which contains mitochondria . In aerobic respiration the end product of glycolysis are further metabolized through krebs cycle aka electron transport chain oxidative phosphorylation where oxygen is required as oxygen accelerator.

anaerobic respiration which occurs in prokaryotic lacking mitochondria cannot process krebs cycle and oxidative phosphorylation therefore cannot completely metabolize pyruvate generated in the glycolysis wherever undergoes fermentation leading Tura formation of Ethanol or lactic acid generating only 4ATPS......
