Afforestation means planting new trees for conservation of a particular land or for environment.
Industrial centres produce a lot of harmful wastes into the air which cause severe harm to the people living nearby.
To solve this problem afforestation is done so that the balance in the environment is maintained and there is no harm to any type of life around it.
