heya...!!

here is ua answer:

Air is called a mixture,
Because it is composed of various gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, inert gases and so on.Moreover , dust particles and water vapour are also present in the atmosphere because of which air is mixture.
hope it helps..!!

Aloi99: wow
Aloi99: we both wrotE the same thing
Aloi99: unbelievable!
Aloi99: °_°
shamamujahid12: The best reason I can think of for why we believe that air is a mixture is that freezing air slowly yields different liquids at different temperatures. Liquid nitrogen has a different boiling point than liquid oxygen. They also freeze at different temperatures. If air were only 1 compound, then air in its entirety would have a single boiling point and a single freezing point.
Aloi99: hmm
Aloi99: this is also gud
shamamujahid12: Air is a mixture and not a compound because of following reasons: Air can be separated into its constituents such as oxygen, nitrogen etc. by fractional distillation of liquid air. Air shows the properties of all the gases present in it. For example: Air supports combustion because of oxygen present in air
