Aluminium is a good reflecting material, and hence used as reflectors in incandescent lamps.

Green houses are artificial herbariums, where plants are allowed to grow in a controlled environment. This is done to cultivate rare and exotic plant species which might not survive out in the open, or for cultivation of plants intended for research purposes.

Since extreme care has to be taken to ensure that the plant receives the right amount of sunshine, incandescent bulbs are used as an artificial source of sunlight. To allow the light to reach the plants and to magnify its intensity, aluminium reflectors are used. This is because aluminium provides a good reflecting surface due to its molecular structure.

Hence, for the proper growth of plants, aluminium reflectors are used in incandescent bulbs in green houses.
