It has the highest point on the earth, Mt. Everest (8,848m) and also have the lowest exposed point on the Earth, Dead Sea, 400m below the sea level.  

Verkhoyansk in Russia is the coldest inhabited place in the world. In winters, its temperature drops to around -700C. On the other hand, Jacobabad in Pakistan has an average summer temperature of about 500C making it the hottest place in Asia.  

While Mawsynram in Meghalaya is the wettest place on the earth receiving about 11,873mm of rainfall annually, the Thar Desert running into India and Pakistan does not receive even 25cm of rainfall annually.  

Asia has some of the densely populated places like India and China. On the other hand, it has also sparsely populated places such as Siberia and the Thar Desert.
