why is birth of a male child welcomed more than the girl child?

Because People think Male child is better in always than Female child. .but the Truth they don't know is Male and Female child have the same soul and they both are equal in all terms.Women are equally capable as Men. .Let's Hope this type of Evil ideology in people completely perishes. .Stop Female Foeticide. .Save the Girl child. .Everyone (all organisms) have Equal Rights to live on this Earth. .All are Equal before our Mother Nature.

Because everyone thinks that a male when becomes big will bring his family forward.He only has the money etc.Jobs are mainly associated with men also compared to ladies bcoz some have meagre education and low skilled formation.

This question is really very good...
People have a mentality that if a male child is born in a family, he'll do some job and will bring money for the house. People think that girls are of no use...If they grow up, they won't be educated and will not be a source of income for the family. And such kinds of stuff they have in mind....
People think that a female is less than a male...
But they don't know the truth that Females are no less than males....They can do far more better things than male....
And they are the ones who take the society forward...
