Why is black aeroplane called strange

Here's the answer:

When the narrated asks the woman in the control centre about the other pilot who was flying the black aeroplane, so that he could thank him (the pilot of the black aeroplane), she laughed and said that his was the only flight that night and she could only see his aeroplane on the radar. This made the black aeroplane strange and it's pilot a mystery.

The Black aeroplane was called strange because it was present without light on his wings and the aeroplane was totally black.
