Bohr Model is applicable to all one electron systems to a greater approximation. In my knowledge He+ being a one electron system is a valid candidate for the Bohr Model whereas Li + is not but Li 2+ is. ... Why could the Bohr model not predict line spectra for helium and other atoms .

The Bohr model works only forhydrogen because it considers only the interactions between one electron and the nucleus. The Bohr model is based on the energy levels of one electron orbiting a nucleus at various energy levels. Any other electrons in the atom will repel the one electron and change its energy level.

Hey the model is only suitable to hydrogen and helium.. Nothing else
