Hey friend,
The main factor we are talking about here is Electro-negativity...
If we take Oxygen and Sulphur... oxygen is more polar than sulphur. (we can say that sulphur is not nearly as electronegative as oxygen)
Therefore, Hydrogen-Oxygen bond is stronger as compared to Hydrogen-Sulphur bond.
Now, since the bond is quite weak...the intermolecular attraction is less and thus resulting in lower melting and boiling points!
