The film industry contributed in a big way to produce an image of the city of a dream and reality. In 1925 it had become a reality in producing films for the national audience. By 1987 they employed around 52,000 people.A large number of people from different parts of India settled in Mayapuri.
City of hardships: A large number of workers had to work hard to survive.Bombay is a crowded city with slums and it is unhygienic too because of the over crowd.
