  • Nucleus
  • Cytoplasm

※ A simple cell will include plasma membrane, cell wall (only in plant cell), cytoplasm, nucleus and a nucleolus.

※ Chromatin material is a thin thread like structure which is composed of DNA ( Deoxyribonucleic Acid) and proteins.

※ There are mainly three transport across plasma membrane :

  • Passive
  • Active
  • Bulk

※ Diffusion plays an important role in exchange of gases between cells and its external environment.

※ Osmosis is movement of water molecules through the selective permeable membrane. It includes three kinds of solution :

  • Hypotonic solution
  • Isotonic solution
  • Hypertonic solution
