Hey mate...
Here is your answer :

It is so necessary because if it will not happen or stop dividing, there will be deficiency of cells in our body
Because after some time the lysosomes of the cell brust because of some reasons and then the whole cell get digested because of the enzyme secreted by lysosomes.
This process will not stop but the process of division will stop... Which causes non availability of some cells, which will effect tissues and then organ and finally it will effect the whole organ system...

I hope it will help you mate

Thanks for the question.

Cell Division is very necessary and essential for all the living organisms. The growth and development is possible only due to cell Division. The emaciated body can be restored only through the cell Division which adds new cells. Offspring is produced only through the cell Division that takes place in parents.
In asexual reproduction , Mitosis helps to give rise to new generation. In sexual reproduction, meiosis helps to form haploid gametes.
Al such functions show that cell Division is one of the important properties of cells and organisms.

Thanks!!
