Why is (CH3)3C+ more stable carbocation than PhCH2 +?

CH3-CH2+ is stabilised by hyperconjugation and other is stabilised by inductive effect. hyperconjugation is dominated by inductive effect .so CH3–CH2+ is more stable

No. of alpha hydrogens in (CH3)3C+ is 9.
No. of alpha hydrogens in PhCH2 is 0.

Thus by hyperconjugation, as stability is proportional to the no. of alpha hydrogens, (CH3)C+ is more stable than PhCH2+
