why is cricket considered as a no.1 sports in India?

Although there are many sports like football etc.. cricket has an unique recognition. Its because it has a worldwide popularity and people get special attraction towards this sport. And we Indians are mostly very good in cricket. Although it was introduced by British to us, we never let away it as we saw it only as a good sport! And it is given a lot of media support also. It's like involving ourselves fully. Crowds,cheer, star hits, sixes everything attracts us thus, making it as the best sport in India.

Everyone love to play this game because the game is like to run,pause, catching etc.Cricket is a teamwork game.If you want to win this, you have to do teamwork.

In our past, when there's the rule of British. They used to hire poor indians for bowling and fielding.After some time, cricket become the weapon of Indian.
