why is curd not stored in copper container??

When curd is kept in copper vessels,it reacts with the copper and forms toxic compounds that are unsuitable for human consumption. By consuming curd stored in copper vessels we are consuming toxic compounds and it may result in food poisoning.Thus it is not advisable to keep curd and other sour food items in copper vessels.
