Why is democracy government a better government? Mention 4 reasons.

It is because-

1. In a democracy people elect their leaders. Also 'one person rule' is not allowed in a democracy. Power is always distributed in this form of govt.

2. It provides a way to deal with differences and conflicts and provides a peaceful solution.
Eg- It is democracy which keeps countries like India together.

3. People are not subjects of the rulers, they are rulers themselves. Right to freedom, Right to Equality etc. Fundamental rights are given here.

4. Leaders are always answerable to people. If the people do not agree with a decision taken by them, then either they have to change their decision or else they are changed.

Democracy means governament should be to the people, for the people, by the people only then the democracy governament is called a better governament.

1. It improves the quality of decision making as it is taken for a particular region, religion, society.

2. It enhances the digrity of the citizens by providing right to vote, right to freedom, freedom of speech ETC.....

3. The governament cannot do anything against the laws of the country and against the right of the citizens

4. The governament id answerable to he people or citizens of the country for their action or step taken.
