❤Hey!❤

In multicellular organisms, all the cells may not be in direct contact with the surrounding environment. Thus, simple diffusion will not meet the requirements of all the cells because diffusion is very slow process.

Thanks❤

Explanation:

The volume of all multicellular organisms is huge which makes diffusion of oxygen directly into body cells pretty complicated. Therefore, diffusion is insufficient to meet oxygen requirements of multicellular organisms.

Hope this answer helps you.
