Hi,
=======:
Here is your answer,
=======:
The main reason behind is that the body of organisms like humans have many organs. Some have direct contact with the environment like, Lips, legs, etc. while some organs like small intestine, stomach don't have so contact. Hence, the organs who have direct contact with environment can easily get it's oxygen requirement by diffusion while those who have not so have depend on transferred one.

heya mate !!

here is your answer :-
___________________________

● Diffusion is insufficient to meet the oxygen requirement of multicellular organisms like human because the body design of multicellular organism like human is very complex.

● They have specialized cells and tissue for performing various necessary functions of the body.

● So oxygen demand of multicellular organism is quite high. As diffusion is very slow process the oxygen requirements of multicellular organism can not be done by diffusion.

● The cells of the the unicellular organisms are in direct contact with out side environment whereas in multicellular are not.

● So, diffusion is insufficient to meet the oxygen requirements of multicellular organism like human as diffusion is very slow process.
