Meanings :
Diffusion :The process in which the particles move from higher concentration to lower concentration.
Multicellular : Organisms which are made up of many cells.
example - human being, animals, birds etc.
ANSWER :
The human beings are multicellular organisms. They have complex body design. And therefore, they have same specific cells and tissues(organs) for performing different functions. As because, in human body many cells are not direct contact with atmosphere. Hence, can not respire like unicellular organisms. So, they have lungs and other organs to respire(intake) and circulate oxygen to different parts by the help of blood.
Hence, diffusion cannot meet the oxygen requirement as much the human body needs.
