Why is direct absorption of hcl gas in water is not visible?

❤️(i) Direct absorption of hydrogen chloride gas in water not feasible because this may lead to an explosion due to the heat produced when water comes in contact with hot concentrated sulphuric acid. (ii) Funnel arrangement is done to dissolve hydrogen chloride gas in water.❤️
