because India being a biggest democracy country failed to become a developed country is due to the fact people's representatives elected by vote did not take India to developed a nation

In the direct democracy ,the newly established law,rules and regulations are approved by the public votes.

This type of democracy is not possible in our country because;

1) The law and constitution system is very large in our country ( our country has the longest written constitution in the world) and that's why arrangement of public votes for every single rule ,law establishment is next to impossible.

2) The huge amount of population is also a major reason for which the direct democracy is not possible in our country.
