ANSWER ---> The Earth is a unique planet and life exists only here. Our earth is the third nearest planet to the Sun and is the fifth latest planet. It is spherical in shape, slightly flattened at the poles. It is best described as a Geolid ― Spherical in middle and flattened at the poles.

The Earth is called a Unique planet because it is the only planet which has conditions required to support life.

► The Earth has moderate temperature :

It is neither too hot nor too cold. Mercury is too hot because it is closest to the Sun. Neptune is the coldest because it is farthest from the Sun. The Earth's distance is just optimum for both plants and animals to survive.

► Our Earth is the only planet that has water which is very essential for life :

About Two-thirds of the Earth's surface is covered with water, when seen from outer space and for this reason, the earth looks blue in colour. Hence, it is called the ‛ Blue Planet ’.

► The Earth is surrounded by a layer of gases called Atmosphere :

This Atmosphere contains both oxygen and carbon dioxide which are life supporting gases.

The Combination of these three factors makes life possible on Earth.

Earth is called as unique planet because earth is the only planet where life exist with help of factors like water, oxygen and vegetation.

In some planets like venus whose atmosphere is made up of sulphuric acid isn't suitable for the existence of life.

The next important factor which helps in existence of life is it's temperate climate .this is possible because earth has a thick blanket of air called atmosphere.
