why is earth move on its axis

it also moves with respect to the earths crust, this is called polar motion precession is a rotation of the earth's rotation exis ,caused primarily by external tarques from the gravity of the sun,moon and other bodies.

It is not a line,it is just a imaginary line which looks like a line,but it is not.
