why is electrostatic force a non contact force?

As in the electrostatic force the object and the surface or the another object which is having that force is not in contact with each other or in simple language they are not touching to each other.. And the force reacts from a distance

Electrostatic force is a non contact force because it results wihout the physical contact of two bodies.example will make you understand more better
1) Getting shocked while getting out of your car 
2) Shocking someone after rubbing your feet on the carpet 
3) Rubbing a balloon then seeing your hair get raised by it 
4) Putting your arm near a TV and seeing the hair be attracted to the TV 
5) Rubbing a comb through your hair and the hair sticking to the comb 
6) Lightning 
7) Touching your tongue to a 9 Volt battery. 
8) Getting shocked by a capacitor in a TV (or just a capacitor in general). 
9) Getting shocked in a bath tub if you drop a toaster into it.
