English is popularly known as the lingua Franca all over the world. It is recognized to be universal in all the countries . It has become so popular that it has even become the language that each and every person must know! By having an international language like English, all people of various nations can communicate with each other easily. It eliminates the need of a translator. It also promotes friendship among different people, of different nationalities because they can now understand what each other say. Hence it is needless to say that English is a global language.
