Now a days these tests are taken to observe the emotional intelligence of an individual, it tells about about how good an individual is in to manage stress, his interpersonal relations and other general mood factors. As he have to take the whole staff with him, understand their emotions, and dealt with them, he should be good at EQ to gain that higher post.
