Why is expiry date mentioned on the plastic water bottles which get in the market ? Water is from nature, so why does it have expiry date or production date ?

Actually the expiry date is for that plastic bottle which is not natural and if water is kept in that plastic bottle only, it does not remain safefor drinking.
