Why is glass considered a super cooled liquid?

meenakshi997sa: because it has fluidity but the rate of flow is very very slow... eg.... - the old glass plane looks thicker at base then at its top
morepradeep: ok I understood
morepradeep: thanks for telling me
meenakshi997sa: :)....

As you know, \bf{amorphous} solids have tendency to flow through very slowly.
now when you see Glass panes fixed to window or door of old building are invariably found to be slightly thicker at the bottom than at the top. this is because the glass flows down very slowly and makes the bottom portion slightly thicker.
That's why glass is considered amorphous solid or \bf{super\:cooled\:liquid.}

Answer :

It is because glass windows are thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top. It shows that glass can flow, that is why it is called super cooled liquid.
