why is graphite conduct electricity but not conduct heat ? what is the reason behind that ?

Graphite is nonmetal and nonmetals have high boiling and melting point thus it dont conduct much heat it is also due to its covalent bonds  .it conduct electricity as some of its allotrops like Buckminster flurence have loose bonds all. graphites dont conduct electricity


aditya43123: ya ya...u r right on your point but.... when graphite conduct electricity then why is not condunct heat ....if electron move then electricy and heat produse why ?
