In India wires are RGB mode i.e. Red- Green- Black. Each of these RGB wire have different functions.

Red – Red wire signifies the phase in electric circuit. It is he live wire and is positive.

Black – Black wires signifies neutral wire in electric circuit. It is negative.

Green – Green wire is used for earthing in electric circuit. A green wire is chiefly used for socket purpose. Socket could be for AC, geyser, TV, microwave, etc. Normally, switches have only 2 wires i.e. neutral and phase.

earthing means to make a piece of electrical equipment safer by connecting it to the ground with a wire.

green wire is used for earthing purpose. red wire carry electricity. for safety green wires are longer than red wires and green wires cover the red wie because electricity is flowing in tue red wire.
