why is He begun with a capital letter H?

If “he” is the starting word of a sentence, it’s first letter will be capitalized. This is because of the rules of punctuation. For example :
He will surely drop by.

But if the word is somewhere in the middle, it won’t be capitalized. For example:
Kieran told he will attend the meeting.
