why is hydrogen peroxide Kept in colored bottles

hydrogen peroxide is highly reactive in nature specially with respect to light light and heat. so to check the reaction it is stored in coloured bottles.

it is kept in coloured bottle because it decomposes on exposure of light to give water and oxygen
