A poorly insulated hot water cylinder will increase running cost because a consumer must pay for electricity used to replace lost heat. Electric shower and tankless heater also use as an immersion heater that is turned on with flow of water.

its is used because wen compared to cylindrical heaters they are economiccally cheap and useful
