Why  is  India  called  the  “Museum  of  human  race"?

1.  India  has    a  population  of  more than  hundred    crores  made  up  of  divers 
eethnicgroups,  casts,  religions and  dialects. 2. This marvelous diversity of people in India has made it both a museum and a laboratory  for the  study  of  man.

India is referred as the museum of human race because of the huge diversity among the Indian population.

This diversity is based upon the following social divisions:

1) Religion. (More than 5 religions are widely popular in our country)

2) Language preference. ( more than 25 languages are spoken in the different parts of our country)

3) Caste. ( There are many social divisions in same or different religions which are mainly known as the caste division)

But,our constitution gives equal rights to all the people of different caste, language and religion.

That's why the population diversity is at a healthy state in our country without any major national scale social problems.
