The major reason why India was named 'golden bird' was because of its abundant raw materials and availability of precious stones. Mauryan ships sailed as far as Syria , Egypt and Greeks. On this ground the ancient India was a global trade hub. Gold was first found in the lands of India.

India is also called golden bird because it wealthy, prosperous and social economic system. Today in India has rich amount of flora and fauna. It has about 37,000 species of birds. And 15,000 of animals. As India was discovered it has many natural beauty and resources. It has many precious stones.
But the most important part of India and problem is poverty.
