<b>1) Indian Parliament is an organ of the government that contain Members of Parliament (MPs) either directly elected by the people or indirectly .

2) There are two houses of Parliament- Loc Sabha or the lower house and Rajya Sabha or the upper house.

3 ) Parliament is important because-

a) It makes laws in a country or changes the existing laws.

b)It has representatives of the people. They represent people and speak their verdict.

c) They keep an eye over the government policy and avoid them in exercising unlimited power. Parliament also has minister of opposition party that checks the government.

d) Parliament means the government. Most of the MPs belong to the ruling party and form a democratic government. Parliament is one of the major feature of a democratic government.

e) Parliament also keeps a check over the other organs of government - executive and judiciary, thus, avoiding them from exercising unlimited power.

So, for the proper functioning of a democratic government,Parliament is very necessary.

Indian parliament is impirtant because...

it is the main u can say place where whole rules regulations and all came.

if any issues then they solve in parliament.

If any big issue's cases then parliament handles it.
