why is it cooler in regions away from equator

narendramodi1101: it is cooler in the regions which is far from equator because the straight sun rays fall to the equator.the slanting sun rays fall in poles which is far from equator.
Pazel: this is due to the angle of sunrays falling on earth. sunrays fall perpendicular to the earth at equator; hence disipating max heat to earth. Where as when we move towards equator the angle decrease nd hence lesser heat is dissipated

Hottest temperature of Earth are found near equator. This is bcoz sun shine directly on those region for more hour during the year. As we move further away from equator and towards the pole less sunshine is received and the temperature becomes colder.
