hi friend
here's your answer looking for
to answer this question let's first know what is fuse?
Fuse :- the fuse is a safety device that prevent the short circuit, it consists of the fuse wire that is made up of tin.
working of fuse :- as the Tin has low melting point, so when the high voltage electricity pass through it, the fuse wire get heated and get easily melt in order to break up the circuit.
now as you are asking why it is danger to replace the fuse wire with a copper wire.
so, if you replace the fuse wire with a copper wire then we can say that the fuse will not be in use because the copper wire has a high melting point. as when the high voltage passes through the fuse then, the fuse wire or the copper wire will not be melt. And as a result the short circuit will take place.
that's why the fuse wire is made up of low melting point wire.
so it will be dangerous to replace a fuse wire with a copper wire.
even not only copper wire but all that metals which has the high melting point.
so the fuse wire must be made up of low melting point.

Heya folk !!
Here's the answer you are looking for
Fuse wire has a low melting point. This is intentionally done so as it melts and breaks off the circuit, whenever more than required amount of current passes through it.
Whereas if you take Cu wire, it has very high melting point. So when more than required current passes through it, it will not melt. As a result, the appliance will have to take the large amount of current, which can be dangerous.
Therefore,it is dangerous to replace a fuse wire with a copper wire.
