why is it easier to burn dry leaves but not Green Leaves ​

Green leaves have moisture in them, which absorbs heat from them and raises their ignition temperature which does not allow them to catch fire easily. On the other hand dry leaves have low ignition temperature and so, burn easily.

Since green leaves have moisture in it , so it is hard to get it to the ignition temperature for burning. But dry leaves have no water content (moisture)in it so it burns easily.
