Why is it easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball moving with same speed?

We know momentum is the product of velocity and mass, here according to the question velocity is constant,which mean the momentum of both the object is only dependent on their masses. Hence the cricket ball being heavier possess more mass and so it's momentum is larger. Which makes it more difficult to stop as compared to a tennis ball.
