Why is it easy to cut vegetables with sharp knife???

Pressure is inversely proportional to Area, the more the area, the less the pressure and the less the area, the more the pressure. A sharp knife has less area, thus pressure applied will be more , and that's why it's easier to cut Vegetables with a sharp knife than a blunt knife , even if we apply same force.
