The coefficient of friction of jute onjute is much more than that of silk onsilk. Hence, two strands of a jute rope can 'grip' each other much more strongly than two strands of a silkrope. This makes it easier to tie a knotin a jute rope as compared to that in asilk rope.

bcs silk is soft nd it slips when we tie it whereas, jute is rough cloth so we can tie it easily.
