it is important to increase irrigated areas because :-

i)if we have more irrigated area, then we can increase our agricultural land which is primary activity.

i)if our primary condition or activity is good then we can expand our secondary activity. etc.

iii) through all of these our economic growth, I. e,our nation's economic growth will accelerate and then become very good.
