But people don't feel happy with what they get through science. To name a few, we have increasing problems of suicides, drug addictions, loneliness and depression. Learning scriptures helps us to understand spiritual matters which science cannot give us or explain to us. Science itself is a subject of human achievements and human limitations.
Learning science helps us understand the mysteries of nature. Science helps us to lead a better and healthier life. Because of science we are able to overcome superstitious and harmful beliefs. Scriptures teaches us how best to live our lives and gain peace of mind and contentment. Life in this world is not that simple. It is complex, confusing and even chaotic. We need to learn both scriptures and science. This balance is perhaps, the most essential need of our time.
