Why is it important to separate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood im mammals and plants?

In plants there's no blood.

Mammals are warm blooded animals.They require energy to adapt to all kinds of environment.The energy requirement is pretty much high so they need more oxygen for that.

In order to provide more oxygen to meet energy requirements it is necessary to separate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.

It is important to seperate oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood in mammals and plants because this helps them to make their circulatory system more efficient and also helps in maintaining their body temperature which very important. :)
