ach hemoglobin molecule can carry a maximum of four molecule of Oxygen.
binding of Oxygen   with hemoglobin is related to partial pressure of O2,partial pressure of Co2, hydrogen ion concentration temperature are the other factors which can interfere with this binding.A sigmoid curves obtained when percentage saturation of hemoglobin with O2  is plotted again with PO2.this curve is called oxygen dissociation curve. And highly useful in studying effects of factors like PCO2 lesser H+ concentration and lower temperature. The factors are favorable for ox hemoglobin ,whereas in tissue ,where low PO2 ,high  pCO2 , high H+ concentration and higher temperature exists, and the conditions are favorable for dissociation of oxygen from the oxy hemoglobin .this clearly indicate that oxygen get bound to hemoglobin in the long surface and get dissociated  at tissues .every hundred ml of oxygenated blood can deliver around  5 ml of o2 . to the tissues under normal physiological   conditions .

kannu17: no.. i think u didn't get my point...
kannu17: actually I was asking about role of vapour pressure in calculating partial pressure
Anonymous: oohh.
kannu17: yeah
kannu17: i know all these points which u told
