this as a good question.

In the daylight the trees do photosynthesis where they take carbon dioxide and produce lot of oxygen. But all the cells of the plant to respiration also side-by-side. Like animals they use oxygen and takes out carbon dioxide due to respiration. In the daylight when photosynthesis is taking place the production of oxygen due to photosynthesis far exceed the carbon dioxide production. However, in the night there is no photosynthesis due to the absence of sunlight but respiration goes on in the plant cells. Therefore there is lot of carbon dioxide and less of oxygen around the tree in the night. So if you are sleeping under the shade of a big tree you are not getting more oxygen which you will get in the day. Therefore it is not advisable to sleep under the tree in the night.

The other reasons are also there like in the night several birds sit on the tree for their night shelter . They continue producing bird droppings ( bird faeces) wwhich may fall on your bed/clothes. In the night some leaves, branches, ripe fruits and insects also may fall on you. This depends on how big is the tree and what kind of tree it is. These are some other reasons

Answer:

the carbon dioxide released from trees during respiration at night is too little to cause any harm . however the droppings of birds , insects . the gases of these dropping are not absorbed by the trees as there is no photosynthesis taking place and the co2  present is not being absorbed .
